We have a full-time opening for a registered Architect with a minimum of 10 years experience in project management, construction documents, AutoCAD 2007, and code knowledge. Ideal candidate will have full understanding of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the fields of restaurant and hospitality, retail, corporate and financial institutions. Candidate will be responsible for day-to-day contact and management of clients, contractors, consultants and supporting design staff.

Interior Designer

Shea, Inc. is an award-winning architecture, interior design and marketing communications firm specializing in commercial/restaurant/retail design. We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer with 3 or more years' experience in the field of interior design in commercial offices, retail and restaurants.

The Senior Interior Designer would be responsible for initiation, development and implementation of interior architectural design concepts and preparation of installation and construction documents. They should be able to initiate and develop interior design concepts, prepare presentation materials; develop interior design details and systems. They must possess a thorough understanding of programming, space planning and design related to interiors, furnishings, building materials, construction methods and finishes. They will have experience in selecting interior materials, finishes, furnishings and equipment and be familiar with furniture and various systems. They should have experience in client presentations, marketing and Project Management of small to large size projects with high complexity. Use of AutoCAD 2007 is required.

Architect (Intern)

Candidates should possess, at minimum, an Associate or Technical Degree in Architecture with 3-5 years experience in commercial architecture. Candidate would be responsible for the development and implementation of architectural design concepts under the supervision of a Project Manager. Basic requirements include knowledge of AutoCAD 2007, good planning and design process skills. Shea believes in allowing people to expand their knowledge base by letting employees go beyond the ordinary boundaries of architecture into environmental design. Photoshop, InDesign, 3D Studio, Viz, skills are a plus.
