For the remodel of Macy's flagship store (formerly Marshall Field's) on State Street in Chicago, Shea provided design for a restaurant, food service areas, retail spaces and a culinary studio. 

Shea designed InField's restaurant with a nostalgic sports theme and a nod to Chicago teams. The Wrigleyville store is an extension of InField's selling Chicago- and sports-themed merchandise. Shea helped with a refresh of the Marketplace food court and other Marketplace components. Shea also designed a wine shop with engaging graphics to guide the guests in their wine-buying process. Finally, Shea designed a culinary studio which is used for cooking demonstrations and to spotlight guest chefs.

Many elements of the Macy's remodel have been used as prototypes for other locations.
