Mall of America
Shea partnered with Mall of America to develop branded environments for their entrepreneurial program. This program included providing distinctive environments for several concepts that brought out the uniqueness of their offerings. The goal was to design high impact atmospheres to compete for the purchase power of 42 million annual visitors.
Shea was an integrated part of the prototype design of more than 35 separate stores. From well-known stores to brand new concepts, Shea worked to develop distinctive environments that helped establish the Mall of America as a mall like no other in the world.
The duration for each project ranged from two to twelve weeks. Construction costs ranged from $40 to $125 per square foot. The square footage per location ranged from 500 to 20,000 square feet.
