Prairieview Center in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, was a 1970's strip center that in recent years has found itself surrounded by many new brand new retail developments. NorthMarq, the property owners, worked with Shea to assess opportunities for an improved presence in the marketplace. Shea's plan focused on maximum impact for a minimal investment and included a façade refresh that updated the aesthetics of the center, allowing Prairieview to compete among its newly constructed neighboring retail centers. Upgrades to the exterior finishes and enhanced individual tenant spaces are helping NorthMarq to maintain and attract viable tenants, and to drive more retail traffic to the site.
